Consists primarily of materials Jones used for her research and teaching. Includes correspondence, field notes, course lessons and examinations, lists of plants, and papers on botanical subjects. Also in the collection are files arranged by subject and location recording her detailed notes on the horticulture of particular sites and containing clippings, photographs and notes. Subjects include the Blake Garden in Berkeley, the Panama Pacific International Exposition, Golden Gate Park, the Golden Gate International Exposition, English and U.S. colonial architecture and gardens.
